Wedding for Lindsey Conrad & Jeff Mikels

Lindsey Conrad & Jeff Mikels were married on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Charity Baptist Church in Lafayette with the reception immediately following in the church basement. The bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses were from David's Bridal, the cake was made by Dawn Taylor, the flowers were from Made Flowers for Sulus. All photography and the 1936 Buick Roadmaster were furnished by Lausch Photography. The Harley Davidson motorcycle was brought by the groom.

The wedding for Sarah Kleinaitis & Shaun Harvey took place on October 1, 2011 at Monon Community Church in Monon. The reception was immediately following at The Trails Banquet Hall in Lafayette. The music was provided by Kent Clem from WSL Mobile DJ's, the cake was from Dream Designs, the flowers were from White Iris, and the wedding was photographed by Ed Lausch and Candace Murphy from Lausch Photography.


2011 Ultimate Pink Party

The Ultimate Pink Party is supported by Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health and Unity Healthcare. The Ultimate Pink Party is a fun filled night for women to gather amongst friends and family to raise funds for the YWCA Women's Cancer Program. The evening includes a dinner, a spa service, entrance to the vendor room, door prizes, health screenings provided by the Kathryn Weil Center for Education and Spirit of Women, demonstrations, entertainment, dessert extravaganza and silent auction. Dr Thomas Summer provided the welcome for dinner, and the keynote speaker was Renee' Wall Rongen speaking about "Life's Your Legacy.....LIVE IT". The MC for the evening was Liz Nichols from NewsChannel 18 This Morning for WLFI-TV, and the live band was The Tone Bones. The Purduettes performed and there was a style show by Heathcliff from Crawfordsville, and Grapevine Boutique from Flora. There were roses for the Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition group, and a PINK Costume Parade.


Wedding for Aaron & Anita Wood

September 24th, 2011 was a cool, rainy day in Fort Wayne for the wedding for Anita Hawkins and Aaron Wood. They were married at the Aldeersgate United Methodist Church with the reception following at the Bergstaff Place. The photography and the 1936 Buick Roadmaster were provided by Lausch Photography from Lafayette Indiana. After the wedding and on the way to the reception we photographed at Lakeside Park and Rose Garden, Parkview Baseball Field, and the Emabssy Theatre in downtown Fort Wayne. At the reception the flowers were by Jessica Rian, and the catering was provided by Ceruti's, the DJ was Randy from R-n-B Sound, and the photo booth was from Affordable Photography Group.

The wedding for Anna Strasburger & Brock Musser took place on Saturday, September 10, 2011, or this date will be remembered as 9/10/11. The flowers were from Brooke Kitchel of Alley Flowers, and the DJ was Kent Clem of WSL Mobile DJ's. All the wedding photography was by Lausch Photography and we started our day at the bride's home, then to the Purdue football field for some fun shots, then to Trinity United Methodist Church for the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony we all headed to the Shively Club at Ross-Ade Stadium for the reception and sit down dinner.

Elanco Lecture & Book Signing

Dr. Nick Trout, a best-selling author and veterinarian, served as the 2011 lecturer for the Elanco Lectureship series. Trout's remarks, titled "Extreme Bond: Where Is the New Importance of Companion Animals Taking Veterinary Medicine?" were presented at the 2011 Purdue Veterinary Medicine Fall Conference on September 20 as part of the Elanco Lectureship series. A book signing preceded the lecture beginning at 5:30 p.m. Both events were held in the Purdue Memorial Union.

Dean Willie Reed hosts this invitation-only, appreciation event each fall for members of the PVM Dean's Club. Awards Celebration
